Mission:
The Cardinal Foundation is committed to partnering with parents, students, staff, alumni, community members, and local business owners, who are dedicated to enhancing and enriching the educational and extracurricular opportunities for students, staff and community members within the Lewiston-Altura School District.
OUR PURPOSE
The Cardinal Foundation was founded in 2024 to provide financial support to Lewiston-Altura Public Schools for needs beyond state funding. Funds are used to enhance and expand educational and extracurricular opportunities for students and staff, aiming to enrich the educational experience beyond current possibilities.
The Cardinal Foundation relies on donations to continue supporting students in our district. Your contribution helps ensure our ongoing success.

Join us at Heartland Days 2025 for PICKLEBALL!
Youth Bracket (16 and under): 9AM start
Adult Bracket (17+): 11:30 start
Format & Rules:
- Players sign up individually.
- You’ll be placed in a pool and randomly paired for doubles games.
- New partner, new opponents each game!
- Games are to 11 points, win by 2.
- We’ll be playing "Up & Down the River” style—After each round, the top two players move up a court and the bottom two move down.
- Rotating courts and matchups keep the play fresh and exciting.
- Max 20 players per bracket.

First place prizes along with random door prizes will be awarded.
Water and bake sale items will be available – all proceeds support Lewiston Pickleball!
